Abstract

The article deals with the life and creative activity of the first rector of Karaganda State University and one of the key figures in the chemical and metallurgical field of Kazakhstan. It also focuses on the contribution made by Ye.A.Buketov into the development of cultural sphere in Central of Kazakhstan. Different views and opinions of well- known public figures and scientists on versatile activities of Ye.A.Buketov are also laid down in the paper.
