Eponyms in teaching of politics and international relations

Abstract

This article explains the concept of eponym from the linguistic point of view to give an idea how to get know history and the content of international relations through eponyms. It presents various examples from American and European historical events, which are presented through eponyms. Linguistic categorization and historical context give opportunities to deepen knowledge and competencies in chosen topics to everyone who concerns in it. The article covers political and ideological doctrines, principles, streams, and tenures. The purpose of such content is to find out a new way in acquisition of history for researchers, students and teachers.
