Key aspects of digital transformation of logistics companies in Kazakhstan

Abstract

Object: Identification of key aspects of using digital technologies by logistics companies in Kazakhstan. Methods: the method of content analysis, the features of using the ICT in logistics, an analysis method, a method of graphical interpretation. Results: The features of digitalization of business processes of logistics companies in Kazakhstan at the present stage were studied. The degree of application of digital technologies by transport and warehousing organizations and cost structure for ICT logistics companies were analyzed. The prospects and problems of using digital technologies such as blockchain, the IoT, cloud services, big data analysis technologies, robots, RFID, 3D printing in logistics and SCM were identified. The global trends in the development of digital logistics were outlined. Conclusions: The results obtained made it possible to assess the level of digitalization of logistics processes in Kazakhstan, to identify the breadth and frequency of using ICT in logistics, to identify certain problems in the field of digital logistics of transport and warehousing enterprises.
