Role of Epithet in Heroic Epic

Abstract

In the article we consider some particularities of epithet usage in epic tales, which were further enhanced at the time of Ancient Turkic peoples and became the traditional means of signing national heroism. The particularities of historical periods in Kazakh heroic tales are studied in accordance with the historical era and traditions of the time.
