Abstract
The article covers the concepts related to intercultural communicative competence. Correlation
between the concepts "communicative competence" and "intercultural competence" is
revealed, definitions of different scholars and authors are given and the role of intercultural
communicative
competence in foreign language teaching is defined in the article.
