| dc.description.abstract | The article considers the problem of the formation of academic written discourse of students from the stand-point of modern foreign language teaching theory; analyzes the nature and structure of the academic written discourse and put forward the idea that the basis for the formation of academic literacy is the notion of academic discourse.
