Abstract

This article discusses the importance of elective courses in the educational system. Elective courses allow students to expand and deepen their learning process by taking into account their individual interests and professional orientation. Elective courses in the current education system ensure the personal development of students and play an important role in the choice of their future profession. The social significance of these courses is related to their contribution to inclusive education, providing equal opportunities among different social groups. The article shows that elective courses help students develop their creative abilities, foster critical thinking, and increase their social responsibility.
