Economic and statistical analysis of the dairy industry development in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Abstract

The article examines the main factors affecting milk production and dairy products in Kazakhstan in the current competitive environment. Methods: The article uses quantitative data, mathematic-statistical methods of studying connections (correlationregression analysis). Findings: This study focuses on the dairy industry of Kazakhstan and its specificities. We have calculated the factors affecting the production of milk and dairy products using regression analysis using the example of the dairy industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The regression analysis showed that investment in fixed assets has a positive impact on the performance of this industry and is statistically significant. The results obtained can be used to study the influence of factors on the dairy enterprise production activities at any level and different ownership forms. Conclusions: The article examined the key factors affecting the dairy industry in Kazakhstan. It also suggested priority necessary measures to improve the current development level of the dairy industry.
