The Syncretic Kazakh: the category of aspect and its sub-aspects

Abstract

The monograph is dedicated to study of the aspect category and its sub-aspects in the Kazakh language. The existence of the aspect category is denied in the Kazakh language, but the objective matrix of Kazakh has it. The main purpose of the monograph is how the syncretic Kazakh language solves the problem of the aspect category and to prove the existence of this phenomenon in Kazakh. The aspect is analyzed from the position of its content and expression planes. The aspect content planes represent internal stages of action development. Kazakh aspect expression planes are composed of gerunds with auxiliary verbs and agglutinations in analytical forms and the main semantic verbs with agglutinations in the synthetic form. Kazakh has a series of sub-aspects. The monograph is addressed to linguistic scientists, doctors, masters, bachelors, as well as everyone, who is interested in contemporary linguistics issues.
